The BIRMINGHAM GT

The Birmingham GT is back and in 2023 this will be a TEAM TOURNAMENT.

This age is for the 40k event, if you are looking for the AOS event, you can find it here.

The ITT sold out all 320 spots and the Birmingham Team Tournament gives us scope to host up to 100, 5 player teams for a 500 player event!

Given the success of the ITT we expect this event to sell out as many top teams were not able to get spots for the ITT!

Tickets are now live and the event will be held in Birmingham on May 27-28.

This will be a big one, so make sure your squad knows, and if you've not got one yet, start assembling a gang. We'll see you there!

How to Form a Team:

Your team can represent your club, school, nation or simply just a group of friends. Each team will need to have  distinct name but you are more than welcome to bring multiple teams from the same club etc. For example if 10 players from my  club 'Up Dice' want to attend, we could bring two teams called 'Up Dice 1' and 'Up Dice 2' or A and B etc.

Each team is made up of 5 players and only one instance of each faction can be included per team. This means you can only have one of each of these across all 5 players with Astartes supplements sub-factions all counting as space marines:

Space Marines, Grey Knights, Adeptus Custodes, Adeptus Mechanicus, Adepta Sororitas, Sisters of Silence, Questor Imperialis, Inquisition, Officio Assassinorum, Astra Militarum, Necrons, T'au Empire, Tyranids, Genestealer Cult, Eldar, Drukhari, Heretic Astartes, Chaos Daemons, Questor Traitoris, Deathguard, Thousand Sons, and Orks.

How does it work?

Teams are paired against each other randomly in round 1 and then via a win/loss format thereafter in which winning teams play against winning teams and so forth. Within the team vs team pairing, players are paired against opposing team members by their captains. The results of all the player vs player games are used to determine which team wins the round.
